We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality laser hair removal. We invested in the gold-standard laser machine to ensure just that. If you get razor burn, ingrown hairs, or are self conscious or tired of shaving every other day, we are here to help.
Laser Hair Removal effectively targets hairs in the active growth cycle. The laser will target the hair follicles, damaging them, so they cannot grow anymore. This will leave you with smooth and hair free in just 6-8 sessions!
Your safety is our top priority. Our laser has many safety features that work to ensure we keep you, and ourselves, safe during the treatment, so we can focus on results.
Our laser, the GentleMax Pro, has a patented cooling system which makes sure you have a comfortable experience. We can also offer a test spot, so you can feel what it is like! There is also no downtime after your treatment.
the GentleMax Pro
Candela's GentleMax Pro laser is the gold standard of laser machines. Candela’s GentleMax Pro system is the culmination of the recognition of excellence for Candela’s two world renowned laser systems: GentleLASE (755 nm) and GentleYAG (1064 nm). The GentleMax Pro system contains both lasers in one physical platform and can safely and effectively treat all skin types.
Candela’s Laser Hair Removal treatments are the most comfortable for you because of Candela’s patented Dynamic Cooling Device™ (DCD™), which prepares the skin for treatment by spraying the upper layer of skin with a cooling burst of cryogen milliseconds before the laser pulse, which makes the treatment very comfortable.
How Laser Hair Removal Works
The GentleMax Pro works by thermally damaging the hair follicle, resulting in a permanent reduction of hair growth. The laser is either attracted to the melanin in the hair, photo-selectively targeting the hair follicle with thermal energy; or, thermal energy is delivered directly to the dermis, retarding hair growth. Whilst the hair follicle experiences thermal damage, the surrounding tissue is unaffected.
After 1-2 weeks the treated hair simply falls out. At approximately 6 weeks the next cycle of hair becomes apparent. This new hair growth is substantially less, with fewer follicles present, and a thinner and softer re-growth than before. Subsequent treatments compound this result, permanently reducing hair growth.
